A patient who is admitted at Belau National Hospital and have NHI coverage shall pay only 20% of the actual charges up to a maximum ceiling based on his or her household income. When the maximum ceiling or threshold is maxed, no additional payment or out of pocket cost is required from the patient. The OOP Max is based on a ceiling of $200-$400 per insured member.
