The Healthcare Fund (HCF) is advising the public that on May 14, 2021 - China Airlines (CAL) announced that it will be cancelling a total of seven (7) flights effective May 22, 2021 to June 15, 2021 between the Republic of Palau and the Republic of China (ROC) Taiwan.

ADMISSION STATUS FOR ALL REFERRAL PATIENTS
The Healthcare Fund is informing the public of new updates on admission status for all referral patients approved for medical care in Taiwan. In this unprecedented time of the pandemic COVID-19, The Republic of Taiwan (ROC) continues to require all medical travelers to be quarantined for 14 days and tested in a facility designated by Taiwan Centers for Disease Controls after arrival to Taiwan.
HealthCare Fund (HCF) is Palau's first national healthcare financing program. It consists of two components: individuals Medical Savings Account (MSA) and a pooled universal social health insurance fund commonly known as National Health Insurance (NHI). These components are funded through mandatory contributions on earned income and collected in the same manner as contributions to the Social Security Trust Fund.
