PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: FEE SCHEDULE

The office of the Republic of Palau Social Security Administration "ROP SSA" wishes to inform the public that due to the global inflation which impact the cost of living and rising prices, ROPSSA revised its Fee Schedule and will implement it, starting on January 1 2024.

ATTENTION: MSA PARTICIPATING PROVIDERS

The Palau Healthcare Fund would like to inform all MSA participating providers of possible disruptions to the MSA online clinic interface for up to 5 days beginning July 18, 2023. This follows the announcement from PNCC reporting that SEA-US repairs extended to 5 days starting July 18, 2023 at 7am and that internet services will be disrupted.

The Republic of Palau (ROP) Social Security Administration (SSA) is soliciting proposals from interested individuals, consultant agencies, and businesses to undertake the role of Utilization Reviewer or Utilization Management of medical claims under the National Health Insurance of the Palau Healthcare Fund (HCF).

What is HealthCare Fund (HCF)?

HealthCare Fund (HCF) is Palau's first national healthcare financing program. It consists of two components: individuals Medical Savings Account (MSA) and a pooled universal social health insurance fund commonly known as National Health Insurance (NHI). These components are funded through mandatory contributions on earned income and collected in the same manner as contributions to the Social Security Trust Fund.
